THE SOLUTION OF THE IMPERFECT WORLD
Idealism is often defined as "unrealistic standards," but this could not be further from the truth. The ideal is simply what is "enough"—like the right amount of water to quench your thirst or the perfect warmth of a bathtub, neither too cold nor too hot.
While individual preferences can vary, humans are social creatures, and just like animal groups in nature, there exists an overarching "ideal" that supports the well-being of the group.
Idealism is labeled "unrealistic" because it unites people.
It compels individuals to think not just for themselves, but for the collective good. This unity, based on selflessness, challenges power structures that thrive on division. As detailed in yesterday's blog post, governments often adopt a "divide and rule" strategy by creating common enemies to fracture communities.
Similarly, those who control the majority of the world's wealth perpetuate cycles of materialism, fueling an insatiable desire for "more and better."
By fixating on superficial desires—a new phone, a newer car—people are trapped in an endless cycle of consumption, mistaking fleeting satisfaction for happiness.
If society instead prioritized genuine connections and true bonds based on love and care, it would expose the emptiness of this competitive, media-fueled(especially through celebrities) mentality. The illusion of happiness through material gain would crumble, and with it, the chains of control held by the wealthy few.
Idealism, then, is not "unrealistic." It is a threat to the systems of control designed to keep humanity disconnected, self-centered, and endlessly striving for meaningless goals.
A.:TT:.A, the Temple of Unity Through High Morality, has embraced the responsibility of carving a new path—a path that unites those who remember what it means to be human. With a vision of fostering genuine connections and a return to collective selflessness, A.:TT:.A aims to create physical sanctuary for those seeking unity, morality, and a truly ideal life.
